We are Igbo women of Washington State and this is our organization, “Umuada Igbo Washington State” We raise funds, we go on charitable missions and anyone who is Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Caucasian, African American, and of African decent anywhere in the world can join us in our fight to eradicate poverty and hunger in Igbo land and beyond.

Our other endeavor is making efforts to maintain our Igbo Language among our children. We teach them how to speak our language and other elements of our Cultural heritage because if we don’t teach them that part of our culture, we may experience the fading away of our Igbo culture and language which is part of our identity as a people. It thus becomes imperative that our culture is not lost in them.

We in addition organize a fundraising activity in support of our causes to help the underprivileged in our society.

Please Join us and make a difference in the lives of others.
