Umuada Igbo Washington State is a group of Igbo women (Daughters of Igbo Tribe of Nigeria) in Washington State. The group is dedicated to doing Charitable work both in US, Africa and around the world. It is an organization that derives the membership from the seven Igbo speaking States of Nigeria Abia, Anambra, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo State and Rivers. It is a charitable, cultural, nonprofit, nongovernmental organization registered with the Washington State Secretary of State and charitable department.
We the Washington State Umuada Igbo Organization with the ideals as PEACOCKS in pursuance of the goal of the Sisterhood is specifically dedicated to women empowerment and charitable work, especially to the poor and underprivileged children and families all over the world.
